MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 31, 2017) – Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet will carry a special paint scheme at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend, centered around the upcoming DC Comics movie, “Justice League.”

The paint scheme, which features Batman, Aquaman and Cyborg from the Justice League anthology, will pair with that of Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kasey Kahne, whose No. 5 HMS Chevrolet will have the images of other Justice League characters.

It’s the latest in a string of paint schemes for Earnhardt Jr. that feature the DC Comics characters. He ran a Batman-themed car at Auto Club Speedway in 2016 and a Superman-themed car in 2013 and 2014. In 2012, he drove a black Batman car to victory at Michigan International Speedway that broke a long winless streak. He also ran a DC Comics-themed car in 1999 while competing the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
